Bishop Hogarth Catholic Education Trust is a family of schools consisting of 30 Catholic primaries and 5 secondaries, serving the communities of Darlington, County Durham, Stockton and Hartlepool.
The aim of Bishop Hogarth Catholic Education Trust is to provide a practical and moral purpose to the furthering of education, giving strength and a collective responsibility for the educational welfare of pupils in our schools. Pupils are the centre of all decision making and Christ is at the heart of our moral purpose.

Students Celebrate in Style at End-of-Year Prom and Leavers' Events
Students from across Bishop Hogarth Catholic Education Trust have been celebrating the end of an important chapter in their educational journey with a series of memorable prom and leavers' events. Following months of hard work, dedication and determination throughout their GCSE and A-Level studies, Year 11 and Year 13 students came together to mark their achievements with friends and staff before embarking on the next stage of their education and careers.

St John’s Catholic School & Sixth Form proudly hosted its third annual Virtue Awards Evening on Thursday 26th June, recognising and celebrating the outstanding character of its students in a heartwarming and inspiring event. The awards evening honoured students for demonstrating key virtues at the heart of the school community, including respect, compassion, resilience, justice, honesty, self-belief, responsibility and confidence.

We are proud to offer a wide range of enriching opportunities that go beyond the classroom. All children have access to exciting experiences such as trips abroad through the Turing Scheme, participation in athletic events, and engaging Modern Foreign Language days. We also encourage pupil voice through involvement in our Trust-wide Pupil Parliament, ensuring every child has the chance to develop new skills, build confidence, and create lasting memories.
